The first Universo Ferrari exhibition in India has opened in New Delhi, bringing together a 612 Scaglietti from the 2008 Magic India Discovery tour, an F50 and a 365 GTB/4, alongside ten bespoke designs developed with Indian design students.
Running at Yashobhoomi, the India International Convention and Expo Centre, until November 1, 2026, Universo Ferrari was opened by Ferrari chief executive Benedetto Vigna on October 17, with public admission beginning two days later. It is the fifth Universo Ferrari event, following editions in Italy, Australia, South Korea and Thailand.

The Scaglietti, which is part of the Ferrari Classiche display, is one of two cars used for the 2008 tour, during which more than 50 international journalists shared driving duties over approximately 8000 miles. The route began in Mumbai on February 25 and returned there on May 7, taking in 57 cities. Prepared with raised suspension and 4mm duraluminium underbody protection, the two 612s wore Rosso Mugello and Ivory liveries.
For the Tailor Made India project at Universo Ferrari, students from the National Institute of Design worked to a Ferrari brief, researching ten Indian locations and developing concepts that Ferrari Design Studio translated into digital configurations. Five use the 12Cilindri and five the Purosangue, with colours, materials and patterns drawing on Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Varanasi and Goa.

A separate Tailor Made 12Cilindri Manuale is also on display. The current road-car exhibits include the 849 Testarossa Spider, 12Cilindri Spider, Amalfi Spider and F80, while the Luce has its own exhibition examining the design, technology and craftsmanship behind the car. The Daytona SP3 is accompanied by a separate display of its 829bhp V12 engine.
The racing section of Universo Ferrari brings together the SF-26 Formula 1 car, the 499P from Ferrari’s three-time Le Mans-winning programme, the 296 GT3 and the 296 Challenge. There is also a display devoted to the Hypersail sailing project.

Owners marked the exhibition with a drive involving 25 Ferraris, covering approximately 1120 miles from Mumbai to New Delhi via Vadodara, Udaipur, Jaipur and Agra. A ten-lot charity auction during the client dinner raised funds for education projects with Save the Children’s Indian organisation, Bal Raksha Bharat, including early learning, classroom resources and support for teachers.
The auction was held with Avélon Luxe, the Indian company newly appointed as a partner of Ferrari’s Hypercar and Ferrari Challenge Middle East programmes. Around 1000 students were also invited to seminars and discussions with Ferrari staff covering subjects including design, technology, product development and entrepreneurship.

Ferrari plans to open two further Indian dealerships before the end of 2026, working with KUN Group in Chennai and Infinity Group in Ahmedabad.
Universo Ferrari remains open at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi until November 1. Tickets are available through District, priced from ₹2125. More details can be found at ferrari.com.
