An exclusive new concours d’elegance will be staged in the heart of northern Italy’s Motor Valley in Bologna this autumn as a celebration of timeless automotive artistry. Called the Concorso d’Eleganza Varignana 1705, this latest addition to the calendar will be held on October 13-15, 2023 and caters to classics produced before 1973.

The event was conceived by Carlo Gherardi, founder of the Palazzo di Varignana Resort, which transformed a 1366 church into a luxurious wellness retreat that offers the local area’s culinary specialities.

With 30 hectares of rolling hills and 150 luxurious rooms, Palazzo di Varignana will serve as the opulent backdrop of the Concorso
