The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance has raised a record $4 million in charitable donations in 2025, with funds now supporting children’s health and education across the Monterey region in California. The donations were distributed to the event’s primary charities during a celebratory luncheon at The Lodge at Pebble Beach.
“The Pebble Beach Concours was founded by enthusiasts who wanted to celebrate cars, and that remains the focus of Concours Sunday,” said chairman Sandra Button. “From the start the event has also aimed to raise donations for worthy causes. We are fortunate that celebrating something we love can also benefit many people.”

Pebble Beach Concours chairman Sandra Button and Pebble Beach Company CEO David Stivers distributed a record-setting $4 million in donations to concours charity representatives: (from l to r) Rob Lee, John Phillips, Katy Castagna, Monica Tovar, Joe DeRuosi, Michele Melicia Young, Sandra Button, David Stivers, Hiram Yanez, Kevin Causey, Dawn Henson, Tom Gray, Andrea Rosenberg, Lauren Cohen, Melissa Gross, Victor Rey, Jennifer Williams-Carpenter and Ron Johnson.
Since its founding in 1950, the Pebble Beach Concours has contributed more than $45m to charity. Button hopes to reach $50m by the 75th event in August 2026. To hit that milestone, the concours will need to set a new record by raising $5m in donations.
When Sandra began working with the concours in 1986, total annual charitable giving had not yet reached $1m. Early donations often came to just a few thousand dollars from sales of programmes and posters. Today, proceeds come from entrants, judges, sponsors, volunteers and the Pebble Beach Company staff all working to increase contributions.
“Our gratitude goes out to a host of participants and partners,” said Pebble Beach Company CEO David Stivers. “The concours is truly a community effort. Its success and generosity are made possible only through the contributions of everyone involved.”

Through its primary charitable partner the Pebble Beach Company Foundation, the Pebble Beach Concours supports more than 100 local non-profit organisations with a special focus on programmes serving children and improving their health and education. The concours’ annual charity drive netted donations from Mercedes-Benz, Infiniti and Lincoln, which benefited the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County, Montage Health Foundation, MY Museum, Natividad Foundation, Salinas Valley Health Foundation, Seneca Family of Agencies and United Way Monterey County.
The concours and Pebble Beach Company Foundation also support initiatives that encourage the next generation of automotive enthusiasts, while honouring the legacy of luminaries such as Phil Hill, Jules and Sally Heumann, John Lamm and Don Williams.

The 75th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance will take place at The Lodge at Pebble Beach on Sunday, August 16, 2026. The celebration will honour past Pebble Beach Road Racing legends and showcase historic car groupings never before seen at the event.
Featured classes will include Ferrari, Vignale, American Speedsters, Classic Streamliners, Land Speed Record Cars and Japanese Motorsports. Additional curated classes will be announced in the coming months, with ticket sales due to start soon.
