After a break of 160 days since the last V de V Sports meeting at Les 2 Tours d’Horloge, on April 10-11, 2026 competitors returned to action for the Navarra 1000km, a Spanish eight-hour endurance marathon of mixed classes.
The KMW Porsche SP 30 secured pole position, and the race began on a dry track. Marc de Siebenthal led the early stages ahead of Romain Belleteste in a Chevron B16 Bi Rotor and Benjamin Monnay in a Chevron B16. The leading pair exchanged positions several times during the opening stint, maintaining a closely matched pace while gradually pulling clear of the third-placed car.

Two hours into the Navarra 1000km 2026, a safety-car intervention brought the field back together, shifting the focus towards strategy, particularly in relation to fuel consumption. The KMW Porsche held an advantage thanks to its ability to complete longer stints, whereas the Chevron required more frequent refuelling stops and a mid-race brake-pad change, with additional drive-through penalties for track limits further compromising progress.
Although the KMW Porsche established a lead of more than a lap, its race was interrupted by a mechanical issue that caused fluid to leak onto the tyres and forced an unscheduled stop, allowing its rivals to take control as it rejoined two laps down.

The situation evolved once more in the final hour as rain arrived, bringing further unpredictability, and when mechanical issues affected the leading car the KMW Porsche was able to return to the front. A late safety-car period neutralised the race, and the final restart did not alter the established order.
De Siebenthal and Jean-André Collard secured Navarra 1000km 2026 victory in the KMW Porsche SP 30, marking the first competition win for the car, while Belleteste and Daniel Roustan finished second in the Chevron B16 Bi Rotor. Monnay and Augustin Sanjuan completed the podium in the Chevron B16.

In the Under 2.0-litre Prototype category, Lionel Vancheri, Florent Cazalot and Maxime Jouvin took victory in a Crosslé 47 S, while Éric Wassermann and Charles Veillard won the Saloon Car class in a BMW 323i. The Grand Touring category was claimed by Christophe Billot, Nicolas Beloou, Jean-Bernard Bouvet and Franck Hardonniere in a Porsche 964, and in Touring Anthony Schrauwen and Tom Cloet prevailed in a Group A BMW 635 CSi.
The next meeting is Les 2 Tours d’Horloge, scheduled for November 6-8, 2026 at Circuit Paul Ricard. More details can be found here.
