Classic Nostalgia 2026 will return to the UK’s Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb on July 18-19 2026, bringing together competition cars, hillclimb runs, rally demonstrations, car clubs, concours entries and live interviews at one of the world’s oldest motor sport venues.
The Midland Automobile Club event will again centre on competitive hillclimb action, with an open paddock allowing visitors to get close to the cars and crews. The 2026 entry is set to include Formula 1, Can-Am, NASCAR, World Rally Championship, historic modified and specialist hillclimb machinery.

Among the cars due to appear are Michael Schumacher’s Benetton B192, Rubens Barrichello’s Stewart SF1, Patrick Tambay’s Haas Lola THL1B, the final Formula 1 car built by BRM, Roy Lane’s McLaren M10B F5000, a Lola T160 Can-Am car and the World’s Fastest Jensen, recently returned from the Bonneville Salt Flats.
NASCAR machinery will also return to Shelsley Walsh, with a dozen cars expected, including ex-Kevin Harvick equipment. UK V8 stock cars will join the display, alongside the Andy Rouse-liveried Dolomite Sprint and an Escort Mk1 BDG.
Ralli22 will bring a field of Group B, Group A and World Rally Championship cars to the hill. The rally element will include a tribute marking 25 years since Richard Burns won the 2001 World Rally Championship, with former Prodrive team members expected to attend. David Lapworth is due to demonstrate the Safari Rally-winning Subaru Impreza, while a daily raffle will offer a passenger ride in aid of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

New for 2026 is the Historic Racing News Live Stage, which will host interviews, guest appearances and autograph sessions as part of general admission. Confirmed names include Richard Attwood, Les Thacker, Mike Wilds, John Fitzpatrick and Stuart Graham, with further guests to be announced. The programme is set to cover Le Mans, Formula 1, touring cars, rallying and the Isle of Man TT.
The Classic & Sports Car Concours will return for pre-1985 vehicles, with judging by Simon Taylor and John Mayhead. Classes will include Pre-WW2, 1949-1959, 1960-1985 Saloons and 1960-1985 Sports/GT, alongside Best in Show and Judges’ Choice awards.

More than 20 car clubs are expected, with anniversary displays including Porsche Club GB’s 65th year, the Jaguar Drivers’ Club’s 70th year and the Midland Automobile Club’s 125th year. The Exhibition of Speed will also return, with the Courtyard Barn used as the Art of Motorsport Gallery for paintings, sculpture, photography and other motor sport-related work.
Competition classes are nearly full, with remaining spaces limited to pre-1976 vehicles. Advance admission is priced at £27, with tickets on the day at £35. Children aged five to 15 are £5, while Startline VIP hospitality is priced at £140 for adults and £70 for under-16s. MAC members receive free entry. More details are available here.
