A capacity crowd of 5000 gathered at Willow Springs International Raceway on October 11, 2025 for Willow Springs Reimagined, marking a brand-new era for America’s oldest permanent road circuit. It was the first major event under the venue’s new ownership, and it featured a full day of activity, from on-track demonstrations to curated displays by leading manufacturers and designers, alongside more than 200 significant cars.

The nine-turn ‘Big Willow’ circuit hosted an all-star B-Sedan race featuring Jimmie Johnson, Jenson Button and Dario Franchitti, with further demonstrations from the Petersen Automotive Museum, Singer and Czinger. Johnson also drove his No 84 Carvana Toyota Camry in a brief on-track appearance.

A highlight of Willow Springs Reimagined 2025 came when 19-year-old Lia Block drove her late father Ken Block’s Hoonitruck in its first public outing since his passing in 2023.

Elsewhere, Formula Drift commentator Jarod DeAnda led proceedings, joined by The Smoking Tire podcast team, while displays included Ken Block’s personal cars presented by the 43 Institute and full-size Hot Wheels models. An exciting line-up of DirtFish rally legends, including the iconic Lancia 037, Lancia Delta S4, Peugeot 205 T16 and other DirtFish School cars, offered a glimpse of a world-class rally experience. Hoonigan’s Hoonipigasus Porsche and Micah Diaz’s E46 Pro-Spec drift car also drew crowds. The Drivers Era curated event merchandise, and a share of proceeds will support the East Kern Family Resource Center and the Lost Angels Career Center.
“The incredible turnout proves that enthusiast culture is alive and well,” said Sam Byrne, co-founder of CrossHarbor Capital Partners and a representative of the ownership group. “Our goal is to reinvigorate the facility while celebrating its remarkable past.”
