Germany has built some of the automotive world’s finest creations, which is reflected in the nation’s passionate collector car culture. Next year, the organiser of the Concours of Elegance and London Concours, Thorough Events, will host the inaugural Concours of Elegance Germany on the shores of the beautiful Lake Tegernsee.

The Concours of Elegance Germany will be hosted by the Gut Kaltenbrunn estate, just 40 minutes south of Munich. The event will feature over 200 historic vehicles, paying tribute to the country’s finest cars and enthusiasts. There will also be a sale hosted by the official auction partner RM Sotheby’s.
Proceedings will kick off with a welcome party on July 22, 2024, before setting off on a grand tour of the Bavarian Alps, taking in magical castles plus fine food and drink at special locations along the way.
The tour will head towards Garmisch before returning for prize-giving and an exclusive dinner at Gut Kaltenbrunn. July 26 will see an exclusive invite-only day, with feature cars, luxury stands, concours machines, plus a patrons’ and owners’ charity evening.
July 27 is the open day, with prize-giving, club cars, stage presentations and a special dinner. Those who are making the event part of a longer trip may be interested to visit the local Olaf Gulbransson Museum, which is dedicated to the works of the Norwegian artist, while Motorworld Munich and the BMW Museum are well worth a visit, too.
