A remarkable line-up of Land Speed Record (LSR) legends will headline the inaugural Wilton Concours des Légendes, taking place at Wilton House from June 19-21, 2026.

Current Land Speed Record holder Andy Green OBE and his predecessor Richard Noble OBE will appear together at the Wiltshire concours, bringing a record-breaking theme to the event. Green famously broke the sound barrier in 1997 with ThrustSSC, reaching 760.343mph at Black Rock Desert, while Noble set the previous benchmark of 634.051mph in Thrust2 in 1983.

The Land Speed Record theme continues with appearances from the Segrave and Campbell families, two of the most important names in British speed record history. Sir Henry Segrave, the first man to exceed 200mph, will be represented by descendant Stephen Segrave, while Donald Campbell and his father Malcolm’s legacy continues through Don Wales, himself a multiple record-breaker.

Further record-breaking credentials come from engineer and motorcycle specialist Allen Millyard, who set a tandem speed record of 183.50mph with TV presenter Henry Cole. Cole also holds a Bonneville land speed record of 99.78mph on a pre-1955 750cc Brough Superior motorcycle.

Star names from across the motoring world

Beyond the Land Speed Record legends, Wilton Concours des Légendes 2026 will feature an exceptional line-up of drivers, designers, collectors and personalities.
