This October the oldest racetrack in America is to roar back into life: Willow Springs Reimagined 2025 is the first large-scale event since the venue’s was taken over by new owners.
Since then the Rosamond, California track – dubbed ‘The Fastest Road in the West Since 1953’ – has benefitted from upgrades such as new asphalt to replace the old and cracked track surfaces, new internal and external kerbs, grading and gravel around the track perimeter plus new run-off areas around the circuit. Safety improvements include chicanes for the Streets of Willow Springs circuit as well as tyre barriers, Armco and air fencing. It’s all being shown off at Willow Springs Reimagined 2025, which takes place on Saturday, October 11.

The event itself will see a full day of on-track action, with races including the B Sedan Racing category, plus demonstrations from the likes of Czinger, Caterham, the Petersen Automotive Museum and Singer. Meanwhile, the paddocks at Willow Springs Reimagined 2025 will be filled with rare vehicles and special displays, while Hot Wheels will be bringing along two cars from its Garage of Legends – life-sized replicas of the 2001 Twin Mill and 2011 Bone Shaker. There will also be displays from FAT International, DirtFish, Shelby American, Porsche Santa Clarita and ICON 4×4.

More than 50 cars will also be on show from prominent collectors and media personalities, with everything from rare classics to supercars promised. There’s also a chance to see a recording of Matt Farah’s The Smoking Tire podcast live, with special guests planned, and there’s an interactive kid zone and a merchandise collaboration with The Drivers Era. A portion of the ticket sale proceeds will be donated to the East Kern Family Resource Center and Lost Angels Career Center.
