Pininfarina to mark Alfa Romeo Duetto day at Monterey Car Week

Pininfarina will celebrate 60 years of the Alfa Romeo Spider Duetto with a dedicated Monterey Car Week gathering on Saturday August 15this year. Duetto Day 2026 is being organised by Pininfarina in collaboration with Concorso Italiano and the Monterey Motorsports Festival, bringing Alfa Romeo Spider owners, collectors and enthusiasts together across several events along the Monterey Peninsula.


The programme will begin at Concorso Italiano, which runs from 10am to 4pm at Bayonet Black Horse Golf Course in Seaside. For Duetto Day 2026, Alfa Romeo Spiders will be displayed in a dedicated 60th anniversary area, with the Concorso Italiano Duetto Award due to be presented around midday.


In the afternoon, participating Duettos will leave Concorso Italiano in convoy for the Monterey Motorsports Festival at the Monterey County Fairgrounds and Event Center. The festival runs from 5pm to 11pm. The day will conclude on Cannery Row with a Pininfarina event overlooking Monterey Bay. During the evening, Pininfarina CEO Paolo Dellachà will present the Pininfarina Duetto Award to the best-preserved example.

Owners are being invited to register their cars through International Car Week. The first 15 registered Duetto owners will receive a commemorative Pininfarina gift.
