There’s an exclusive new event taking place at this year’s Monterey Car Week, linked to The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering and taking place on the evening of Thursday August 13, 2026.
An Eve on the Green will be limited to just 500 guests, who will receive “an intimate and highly curated evening that blends world-class hospitality, exceptional culinary experiences and automotive storytelling in a way only The Quail by The Peninsula can deliver,” according to organiser Peninsula Signature Events.
The evening will begin with an immersive celebration of Route 66, complete with signature cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Honouring the 100th anniversary of America’s most iconic highway, the Route 66 experience invites attendees on a journey through all eight states, brought to life through bespoke displays, remarkable automobiles, collector stories and product showcases.

As the sun sets, guests will be invited to a gala dinner beneath the stars, prepared by chefs under the direction of David Bizet of L’Oiseau Blanc at The Peninsula Paris, the hotel’s two-Michelin-starred restaurant. The evening concludes with a private performance by multi-platinum country superstar Russell Dickerson.
The event is available as a two-day package, giving admission to both An Eve on the Green and The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering. Tickets are $4500 per person, with only 500 packages available.
“An Eve on the Green represents a new chapter for The Quail by The Peninsula and Monterey Car Week in its entirety,” said Courtney Ferrante, director of Peninsula Signature Events. “We have created an experience that extends beyond the show field and celebrates the lifestyle, craftsmanship and hospitality that define The Peninsula Brand.”
