The Heritage Invitational returns to North Carolina’s Ten Tenths Motor Club this weekend, with Historic racing on Friday (April 10, 2026) followed by a concours display on Saturday. Friday’s programme centres on track activity, beginning with a Vintage Indy showcase covering cars from the 1930s through to the 1990s. The entry includes both front-engined and later rear-engined designs, presented in on-track sessions rather than static display.

The International Race of Champions also features at the Heritage Invitational 2026, bringing together a field of established names in identical machinery. Drivers include Jeff Gordon, Kurt Busch, Mark Martin and Bobby Labonte, alongside Scott Pruett. An autograph session is scheduled for 2:00pm, limited to 75 attendees on a first-come basis. The day concludes with a Celebrity Pro-Am race, pairing professional drivers with amateur entrants who secured drives through a Speedway Children’s Charities auction. Confirmed names include Joey Logano, Mark Martin, Ken Schrader and Max Papis. The format is a timed, elimination-style contest on Ten Tenths Motor Club’s 1.7-mile circuit.
Among the cars on display at the Heritage Invitational 2026 will be a 1987 Porsche 962, a Le Mans entry that finished fourth overall in 1987 and eighth the following year. It later entered the Kremer Collection and remains in Leyton House livery. It is also road-registered in the US. A 1981 Lamborghini Countach P400S is included as well, originally built for Jean Claude Mimran and used as the official Monaco Grand Prix Safety Car in 1981 and 1982.

On Saturday, the focus at the Heritage Invitational 2026 shifts to the Heritage concours. More than 115 collector cars will be displayed across the venue, ranging from pre-war models to later European and American performance cars. A centenary display for Pontiac, curated by the Carolina Classic Pontiac Club, traces the development of the marque from late-1950s road cars through to its later performance models. The selection includes a 1958 Chieftain, a 1979 Trans Am and a 2008 G8 GT, the latter originally produced for the Australian market.
A separate Porsche 356 display focuses on early production models, including a 1958 example formerly owned by Steve McQueen. Also included is a 1955 356 Speedster believed to be among the final Pre-A cars, alongside two cars from the Ingram Collection. Japanese racing machinery is also represented, with a group of modified JDM cars representing performance and tuning culture.
RADwood runs alongside the concours, with a display of 1980s and 1990s machinery plus associated period presentation. Highlights include a Dale Earnhardt tribute featuring a 1981 Pontiac and a 1986 Richard Childress Racing Monte Carlo, as well as Darrell Waltrip’s No. 17 TIDE Chevrolet show car. There will also be a display of Ferrari halo models drawn from the collection of NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick, a partner in Ten Tenths Motor Club, comprising a 1985 Ferrari 288 GTO, 1992 F40, 1996 F50, 2003 Enzo and 2015 LaFerrari.
