The Goodwood Revival 2026 (September 18-20) will celebrate the life and career of Jack Brabham, marking both the centenary of his birth and the 60th anniversary of his third Formula 1 World Championship.

The Revival will bring together up to 50 cars associated with Brabham’s career for a track parade across the weekend. These will include championship-winning machinery alongside Formula 1, touring and sports cars run by the Brabham team up to 1970. The selection is expected to include machinery raced by drivers such as Bruce McLaren, Dan Gurney, Denny Hulme, Graham Hill and Jochen Rindt.

Brabham’s association with Goodwood dates back to the early 1950s, when he tested and raced a Cooper-Alta at the circuit. He later won a Formula 2 race there in 1966 and returned following the circuit’s reopening, appearing at both the Festival of Speed and the Revival. The tribute at the Goodwood Revival 2026 will focus on Brabham’s career as both driver and constructor, as well as the early development of the Brabham team. David Brabham is involved in the project, working with Goodwood to shape the presentation.

“Jack Brabham is a true motor sport legend – a triple World Champion who uniquely won the championship in a car bearing his own name. He is also one of a select few drivers who was a superstar at Goodwood in its first incarnation, and again in the modern era,” said The Duke of Richmond, CBE DL.

“He became a regular at the Festival of Speed, and when he raced at the Revival he had lost none of his fierce competitive streak, despite being in his 70s by the time the circuit reopened. It’s incredibly special that the Brabham family are still so closely connected to Goodwood, with David regularly attending all three of our events. We’re much looking forward to celebrating Jack’s career and enduring legacy at the Revival later this year, with many of the wonderful cars he created coming together for the occasion.”

The Goodwood Revival 2026 will also mark the centenary of Maserati’s first major success at the Targa Florio, with a dedicated on-track celebration. In 1926, Alfieri Maserati drove the Tipo 26 to a class win at the event, establishing the marque’s early competition record. The Revival programme will include a track parade featuring more than 50 Maserati competition cars built before 1966. The entry is expected to include multiple examples of the Maserati 250F, alongside a range of sports racing and single-seater models.

Cars listed for the event include the 150S, 200Si, 300S, 350S, 450S, 4CL, 4CM, 8C, 8CM, A6GCS, Tipo 151, Tipo 63, V4 and V8RI, representing different phases of Maserati’s competition history across circuit racing and road events. The presentation will extend beyond the track, with elements of the site reflecting the period and setting associated with the Targa Florio, including references to mid-20th century Italian motor sport.
