Chopard unveils Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Grigio-Blu 2026 Racing Edition

Words: Nathan Chadwick

Chopard has introduced the Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Grigio-Blu 2026 Racing Edition, a numbered limited edition of 250 watches celebrating the company’s long-running association with the Mille Miglia.

The Swiss watchmaker has been partner to the Italian regularity event since 1988, and the latest Mille Miglia model follows the collection’s familiar motor sport theme with a dashboard-inspired dial, fuel-gauge-style power-reserve display and tyre-tread detailing on the strap.

The watch uses a 43mm case made from Chopard’s Lucent Steel, with short lugs intended to improve the fit on the wrist. It also has a screw-down crown engraved with a steering-wheel motif and is water resistant to 100 metres.

Its brass dial is finished in a grained blue-grey tone, a colour Chopard says is intended to recall the asphalt roads of the Mille Miglia route. The layout uses large typography, faceted hands and applied metallic hour markers. The hands and markers are coated with black Super-LumiNova for low-light visibility, and a semi-instantaneous date is also included.

Power comes from the Chopard 01.08C calibre, an in-house self-winding mechanical movement. It is COSC chronometer certified, runs at 4Hz and has a 60-hour power reserve. A stop-seconds function allows the watch to be set precisely.

The Mille Miglia GTS Power Control Grigio-Blu 2026 Racing Edition is supplied on a black technical textile strap with a rubber lining. The inside of the strap carries a subtle tyre-tread pattern, while fastening is by a Lucent Steel folding clasp. The model is available through Chopard boutiques worldwide and the Italian retail network.
