Amazon MGM Studio is to offer an Aston Martin DB12 Goldfinger 007 Edition for auction on December 11, 2025, in aid of four charities chosen by Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.
To mark the 60th anniversary of Goldfinger – and the first appearance of the Aston Martin DB5 in the Bond franchise – 60 DB12 Goldfingers were produced in 2024. The edition quickly sold out, and one car – chassis 0/60, the example you see here – was reserved for EON Productions. It’s now being offered by Christie’s with hammer proceeds equally divided between four charities chosen by Wilson and Broccoli: Into Film, National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, The London Screen Academy and UK Time’s Up.

The DB12 Goldfinger 007 Edition is a UK, right-hand-drive model and unregistered. It features classic Aston Martin design and a range of details inspired by Goldfinger. It rides on 21-inch silver-plated multi-spoke wheels with diamond-finished surfaces, complemented by black brake calipers. The iconic Aston Martin side strake is finished in gold to mark the 60th anniversary of Goldfinger, while enamelled script badges echo the DB5 badging used in the film and are paired with a chrome ‘Q’ wing badge.

Inside, the driver and passenger sit in Sports Plus seats trimmed in the original fluted style of the DB5. These also feature a Prince of Wales check perforation pattern, a reference to the mid-grey suit worn by James Bond on screen. The Prince of Wales motif continues on the treadplates, which carry an etched version of the pattern, while the polished sill plaque displays the Goldfinger 60th anniversary logo.
The cabin includes 18-carat gold-plated accents such as the drive-mode rotary dial, roller controllers and trim inlays. Gold fibres are also woven into the 2 x 2 twill carbonfibre. Additional details include an embroidered eight of hearts on the driver’s sun visor.
The notched gear selector pays tribute to the tracking device scene in Goldfinger, where Bond hides a magnetised tracker in the boot of villain Auric Goldfinger’s car. The selector features gold-plated etching, and it is shaped and weighted to replicate the prop used in the film.

This car is accompanied by items issued exclusively with the Aston Martin DB12 Goldfinger 007 Edition. These include a James Bond Goldfinger 60th Anniversary film poster that will be signed and dedicated to the winning bidder by Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli after the auction. It also includes a copy of James Bond Cars, published by Assouline in 2025, signed by the author Chris Corbould OBE, and a copy of the DB12 Goldfinger 007 Edition brochure signed by Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.
Each DB12 Goldfinger 007 Edition was supplied with a set of model-specific accessories, all of which are included with this example. These consist of a dedicated car cover and a Globe-Trotter attaché case containing a key box styled as a gold ingot, a speed-form model and a limited-edition magazine. The package also includes a replica section of 35mm film from a scene in Goldfinger, a set of facsimile script pages from the film, a numbered magnum of Bollinger Champagne and four Bollinger 007 glasses. These items are presented in a bespoke Globe-Trotter air cabin case.
