Artcurial has opened a US subsidiary in Miami, with its Motorcars department set to lead the French auction house’s expansion into the important American market.
The new operation is headquartered in Miami’s Design District. Its first Artcurial Motorcars auction will take place on February 19, 2027 at The Hangar at Regatta Harbour in Coconut Grove, during the Miami Concours and Moda Miami calendar. The new sale will mark the beginning of Artcurial’s auction activity in the US, adding to its existing operations in Paris, Monaco, Marrakesh and Switzerland.

“The creation of a US subsidiary illustrates our House’s international development strategy,” said Nicolas Orlowski, chairman and CEO of Artcurial Group. “It reflects our ambition to grow ever closer to a passionate and discerning American clientele.”
Artcurial has appointed Adrien Durban as managing director of Artcurial Motorcars USA. Durban took up the role on August 1 and has already been tasked with developing the company’s activities in the US as well as building relationships with collectors, dealers and other partners.

Durban has more than 25 years’ experience in the collector car market in Europe and the US. He previously worked for RM Sotheby’s and Bonhams|Cars, specialising in the sale, acquisition and management of collections. He will be supported by Edward Fallon, who has worked as an Artcurial consultant for several years.
“Joining Artcurial Motorcars felt like an obvious choice,” said Durban. “I was drawn to its exacting standards, its vision of the market and the trust it has built with collectors.”
Matthieu Lamoure, president of Artcurial Motorcars, said the move followed the department’s development in Europe. “With Miami, we are moving closer to American collectors to offer them the same expertise, proximity and trust that define Artcurial Motorcars’ identity.”
