Italian Speed Festival roars into Misano for all-new event

Misano World Circuit is to play host to the very first Italian Speed Festival, a new event from Canossa designed to celebrate the Italian automotive industry in the heart of the nation’s Motor Valley between October 22 and 23.

The final round of the Cavallino Classic Cup brings former Ferrari Challenge cars out to play.

The event will host the finals of the Alfa Revival Cup, Youngtimer Cup and the Cavallino Classic Cup. The Alfa Revival Cup is dedicated to cars built before 1981, while the Youngtimer Cup is dedicated to 1980s and 1990s competition machines. The Cavallino Classic Cup, meanwhile, is dedicated to Ferrari Challenge cars from the 348 era to the 458.

Although the event celebrates Italian automobiles, all marques are welcome.

Away from the racing, there will be track slots for collectors and drivers, even if the cars they’re in aren’t Italian. Spectators will have full access to the pitlane, and you can expect plenty of classics, modern supercars and fine Italian food from the Emilia-Romagna region. More details here.

The open pitlane means spectators can see the cars up close.
