The inaugural edition of the Oberoi Concours d’Elegance will be held on February 16-18, 2024, at the Oberoi Udaivilas Resort in Udaipur, India.

Set against the picturesque backdrop of Lake Pichola in northwestern India, the three-day event takes over from what was formerly known as the Cartier Concours d’Elegance.

The Oberoi Concours is set to showcase some of the world’s most significant vehicles, including those owned by Indian royalty and the country’s leading collectors.

Concours entries are being curated by automotive historian Manvendra Singh Barwani, and will be judged by an experienced panel led by Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance chairwoman Sandra Button. The deadline for concours applications elapsed on August 31, 2023.

“Oberoi Hotels & Resorts is delighted to host and promote the celebration of beauty, innovation and craftsmanship that has defined a century of the most exceptional automobiles of the world,” said Arjun Oberoi, executive chairman of the Oberoi Group.

“With the Oberoi Concours d’Elegance, we look forward to placing India on the world’s concours stage and showcasing the very best of automotive heritage and excellence.”

Budget constraints were cited as the factor behind the axing of the Cartier Concours d’Elegance back in 2020, along with the lead sponsor’s waning interest. The inaugural Cartier Concours d’Elegance was held in 2008, and it ran for six years before its cancellation.
