In fewer than 150 days, the shores of Lake Tegernsee will play host to some of Europe’s finest and rarest cars for the first Concours of Elegance Germany. Organised by Thorough Events, the team behind the UK’s Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace and the London Concours, the event will take place from July 22-27, 2024.

The event will be focused on Gut Kaltenbrunn at the head of Lake Tegernsee, just 40 minutes from Munich

Presented in association with A. Lange & Söhne and RM Sotheby’s, the event will be focused on Gut Kaltenbrunn at the head of the lake, just 40 minutes from Munich. Among the cars already confirmed for the event include two Italian stallions with very different heartbeats – a 1971 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 and a 1967 AC Frua, which was bodied by the Italian coachbuilder Pietro Frua. These are just two of 200 vehicles expected to be on display.

The Concours of Elegance Germany will also see 25 cars take part in a four-day exploration of the Bavarian countryside, starting on July 22. As for the concours itself, as is the case with the Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace, the owners of the vehicles, rather than a panel of judges, will select the overall winner.
