Set against the striking backdrop of Bolesworth Castle near Chester, the inaugural Bolesworth Concours arrives on the calendar this summer, running from June 26-28, 2026.
The event positions itself as a celebration of ‘The Art of Horsepower’, a phrase that earns its double meaning here. Alongside the concours itself, the second day plays host to Puissance, a high-drama showjumping challenge. It’s an unusual pairing, but one that feels entirely at home in a castle setting.
On the automotive side, the class list reads promisingly: Racing Legends, Coachbuilt Masters and Italian Thoroughbreds sit among the competitive categories, while dedicated displays will spotlight Pre-War machinery and mark 25 years of the Aston Martin Vanquish. The judging panel carries real weight too, featuring Bentley’s Dr Matthias Rabe, Lotus Elise designer Julian Thompson, and noted collector Jane Weizmann.
