The organisers of the 2023 Dubai GP Revival have revealed an all-new category of cars heading to this year’s three-day Middle Eastern festival of Historic motor racing.

Called Dubai Classics, the new category features 30 of Dubai’s most unique classic cars. Each day of the event, a 20-minute open-pitlane track session will be held for Dubai Classics vehicles, all of which are required to be classic registered.

Additionally, participants in the 1000 Miglia Experience UAE rally will be able to enter eligible cars in the Dubai Classics category, providing the perfect opportunity to cap off a week of automotive adventure.

While the Dubai GP Revival primarily focuses on iconic racing cars, the Dubai Classic class broadens the event’s scope by bringing together some of the most beautiful road machines.

Entry to all three days is included with registration for those driving an eligible vehicle. Participants must leave their vehicles on display for the duration of the event, which runs from December 7-10, 2023. The entry fee is AED 1000 per car, with an additional AED 200 for a passenger.

“Our event is a true celebration of the golden age of motor sport, encapsulating the most tangible elements of what made it so attractive and alluring,” says Pierre-Brice Mena, managing director of GP Extreme. “The addition of the Dubai Classics category supports this, giving local classic car owners a unique opportunity to showcase their vehicles to thousands of passionate fans.”
