Chill out in style: The ICE St Moritz returns for 2024

The coolest event on the events calendar returns between February 23 and 24, 2024 – The ICE St Moritz brings exotic cars to the frozen surface of the lake near the Engadine resort, located in Switzerland.

The format remains unchanged from last year’s set-up, with Friday February 23 dedicated to a static exhibition for the concours jury to run the rule over the entrants, along with viewing for members of the public. Saturday February 24 sees the cars parading across the frozen surface of the lake – often with a fair amount of opposite lock.

The organisers have announced four categories for this year’s concours. The first is Barchettas on the Lake, in honour of two-seater racing cars. The Open Wheels category celebrates single-seater racing cars from the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s, while Concepts Cars and One-Offs is dedicated to unique show machines. The Icons on Wheels class is more enigmatic in its definition, with the organisers describing it as “timeless class and charm for these iconic cars, possessing a regal dignity while remaining witness to the fashion and style of an era”.

Away from the concours, you can expect to see manufacturer support, luxury shopping opportunities and plenty more besides.
