The 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed is off to a sizzling start as thousands of automotive enthusiasts flock to West Sussex, UK for the world-renowned motoring extravaganza (Thursday July 10 to Sunday July 13, 2025).

This year’s Festival began with a bang on Wednesday evening, as artist Gerry Judah’s spectacular Central Feature was unveiled in tribute to the 60-year career of legendary car designer Gordon Murray and his eponymous Gordon Murray Automotive (GMA) marque.

The event proper began in similarly spectacular fashion on July 9, as GMA confirmed production plans for the T.33 that was first revealed at the Goodwood Members’ Meeting in March. Positioned as an even more usable supercar than its T.50 hypercar sibling, just 100 will be built, with Spider and track-focused S models to follow.

This year’s event also celebrates the 75th anniversary of Formula 1 as part of the Winning Formula – Champions and Challengers central theme. Fans have been treated to an expanded F1 paddock featuring over 100 Grand Prix cars – from title-winners to plucky underdogs – many of which will be reunited with their original drivers over the weekend. Confirmed names include Alain Prost, Nigel Mansell, David Coulthard and Sir Jackie Stewart – among many others.

Plenty of exciting new cars are typically launched at the Festival, and this year is no exception. Lanzante drew a large crowd on Thursday morning for the debut of its 850bhp 95-59 hypercar. Unveiled by company founder Dean Lanzante alongside designer Paul Howse, the limited-production model pays tribute to the McLaren F1 that famously won Le Mans in 1995.

The 95-59 is joined by a host of hypercars over in the ever-popular Supercar Paddock, with standout appearances from the Ferrari F80, Rimac Nevera R, Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear, Praga Bohema, Zenvo Aurora TUR and Maserati MCXtrema, to name a few.

Supercars are also out in force, with Ferrari showcasing its track-ready 296 Speciale, while Maserati has debuted its newly unveiled MCPura. The long-awaited Aston Martin Valhalla, meanwhile, has made its dynamic debut this weekend.

Other highlights include the Honda Prelude and Civic Type R Ultimate, Ferrari Amalfi, Alpine A110 R Ultime, Land Rover Defender Trophy Edition, Hyundai Ioniq 6 N and a camouflaged preview of Lexus’s V8 LFR supercar.

In addition are thrilling aerobatics courtesy of the Red Arrows, live music in the paddock and immersive attractions such as the Forest Rally Stage, various simulator experiences and the Future Lab Tech hub.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed continues with further debuts and timed shoot-out sessions across the weekend. You can livestream all the action via Goodwood’s YouTube channel here.
