Eddie Jordan to be honoured at 2025 British Grand Prix

The 2025 British Grand Prix is set to honour the life and career of the late Eddie Jordan with on-track demonstrations and static displays of cars associated with the Irishman and his eponymous team.

Organising the tribute to Jordan is Mark Constanduros, who was responsible for assembling the award-winning Senna exhibition at the 2024 Silverstone Festival. For this year’s Festival, scheduled for August 22-24, he is assembling all 34 F1 World Champions’ cars for another once-in-a-lifetime exhibition.

In the meantime, a number of Historic race cars linked to Jordan’s career will return to the track in his honour, ranging from early Formula 3 challengers to the iconic canary yellow machines of Jordan Grand Prix.

Headline cars include the 1987 Reynard 873 that Johnny Herbert used to secure the F3 title, as well as the 7Up-liveried Jordan 191 that famously launched the career of seven-time World Champion Michael Schumacher at Spa-Francorchamps in 1991. The full line up of cars can be found here.

Eddie Jordan led his eponymous Formula 1 team from 1991 until 2006, when it became Spyker before transforming into Force India under Vijay Mallya’s ownership. Today, the team he founded continues to compete as the Aston Martin outfit.

In addition to making his mark as a flamboyant and charismatic team owner, Jordan later became a popular Formula 1 pundit for both the BBC and Channel 4.
