The Cavallino Classic Modena returns to the hometown of Enzo Ferrari on May 16-18, 2025, bringing with it an assemblage of some of the world’s most significant Prancing Horses.
Set in the opulent surroundings of Casa Maria Luigia – the 19th century villa on the Bottura estate – the fifth edition of the concours combines motoring excellence with luxurious hospitality in Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region.

The Ferrari fiesta begins with a welcome reception on the Friday, followed on the Saturday by concours judging and a parade through the centre of Modena, culminating at the Museo Enzo Ferrari.
That evening, participants will return to Casa Maria Luigia for the prize-giving ceremony, which will be attended by the upper echelons of Ferrari management, as well as Enzo Mattioli Ferrari – a direct descendant of Enzo Ferrari himself. Event founder Luigi Orlandi and proprietor of the estate chef Massimo Bottura will also be in attendance.

A highlight of this year’s concours will be a special class dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the 308 GTB, celebrating its status as the first Prancing Horse produced in the thousands and the first of Maranello’s legendary line of V8 road cars. Other concours classes include The 12-Cylinder Front, The 250s, The 275s, The Road-Legal Mid-Engined V8, The Racing Mid-Engined V8, the Dino and The Supercars.
Several standout cars grace the entry list, including one of just two 212 Export Vignale Cabriolets, the 1953 250 MM Spyder Vignale that competed in the 1954 Buenos Aires 1000km, and the 330 GTO that Mike Parkes and Lorenzo Bandini raced at Le Mans in 1962. That historic machine is complemented by a modern counterpart – a 458 GTE that competed at the Le Mans 24 Hours in 2013 and 2014.

The curtain comes down on the Cavallino Classic on Sunday, May 18, with a scenic drive along Modena’s historic Ferrari test roads. This ends at the Casa Canossa for a Michelin-starred lunch inspired by local Emilia-Romagna cuisine.
